Dr. Sanjeev Arora
M.B.B.S, M.S

Senior Consultant, ENT

Dr. Sanjeev Arora leads ENT care at East Delhi Medical Centre, bringing over 32 years of surgical experience to patients across Shahdara, Krishna Nagar, Dilshad Garden and the rest of East Delhi. He has been practising as a consultant ENT surgeon in Delhi hospitals since 2003, and in that time has handled everything from a child's first ear infection to complex head and neck surgeries.

He completed his MBBS and MS in ENT from PGIMS, Rohtak, and has gone on to specialise in micro-ear surgery, cochlear implants, and endoscopic sinus surgery, the kind of procedures that need both a steady hand and years behind the microscope. He is a member of the Indian Medical Association, the Association of Otorhinolaryngology Society of India, and the All India Rhinology Society.

Families who visit EDMC often come to Dr. Arora with more than one generation's worth of concerns in a single sitting. A grandmother's hearing, a teenager's tonsils, a father's blocked nose. He treats each one on its own terms.

Areas of Expertise & Focus

Hearing Loss in Elderly Patients – treat with Dr Sanjeev Arora

Hearing loss creeps up slowly, and most families only notice it once conversations at home start becoming a strain. Dr. Arora checks how much hearing has been affected and what’s causing it, then talks patients through the actual options, a hearing aid in most cases, or cochlear implant surgery when the loss has gone further. Many of his older patients from Krishna Nagar and East Delhi come in only after years of “just speaking louder” at home.

Ear Pain and Recurring Infections

Ear infections are one of the most common reasons families end up at an ENT clinic. Sometimes it’s a child who won’t stop tugging at their ear, other times it’s an adult with discharge that keeps coming back. Dr. Arora treats both, and where infections have caused lasting damage to the eardrum or middle ear, he performs micro-ear surgery to fix it properly instead of managing it with another round of antibiotics.

Sinus Problems and Constant Blocked Nose

A blocked nose, facial heaviness, and headaches that won’t go away are usually sinusitis, and Delhi’s dust and pollution don’t make it easier on anyone. Dr. Arora starts with medical treatment where possible, and moves to endoscopic sinus surgery for cases in Shahdara and Dilshad Garden that haven’t responded to medicines after repeated attempts.

Snoring and Disturbed Sleep

Loud snoring gets treated as a joke in most Indian households until someone actually loses sleep over it. Often the real cause is a blocked nasal airway, and Dr. Arora identifies exactly what’s obstructing the airflow before suggesting treatment, so the fix targets the actual problem instead of a general remedy.

Tonsils and Throat Infections in Kids with Dr Sanjeev Arora

Parents in East Delhi frequently bring their children in for repeated sore throats, swollen tonsils, or trouble swallowing. Dr. Arora examines whether the case can be managed with medication or whether surgery is genuinely needed, and explains the reasoning clearly so parents aren’t left guessing.

Dizziness and Balance Issues

A sudden spinning sensation is frightening, and it’s often assumed to be something neurological when the real cause sits in the inner ear. Dr. Arora examines patients, many of them older adults from East Delhi, for ear-related causes of vertigo and treats it at the source rather than just prescribing something to manage the symptom.

Voice Changes and Throat Lumps

A voice that stays hoarse for weeks, or a lump felt while swallowing, is something patients over 40 especially shouldn’t sit on. Dr. Arora’s background in head and neck surgery means these cases get looked at properly and early, without patients having to travel out of East Delhi for a specialist opinion.
